Shirt design for a local community initiative I'm a part of, for the wargame Trench Crusade. I wanted to create a shirt design for us to wear at events to denote that we're event organisers that was in-theme with TC, but also reflected that our aim is to be friendly and welcoming to players that don't know us personally. I had the idea of doing a cute almost chibi-fied version of the art of the demon patron Succoth-benoth (as depicted by Mike Franchina in one of the official TC artworks) as we referenced them heavily in the first narrative event we created, and as a result they'd become a sort of unofficial mascot for our community activities. We all loved Mike's art and the design of Succoth-benoth, and it was a delight to try and translate that gritty and hauntingly beautiful design into something that mixed both the creepy and cute elements of typical softer character design together.
